For the price it’s unbelievable!
Bigrichrocks 04.10.2020
I had the free version to start and was impressed with how really ‘pro sounding ‘demos with a simple interface and not a great selection of mics. As I recorded more and more I needed some of the features with the paid versions .... ( there are some cheaper versions before going for ‘professional’. I figured that for the two minimal cost overall I would buy the ‘Studio One 5 Professional’ .
It’s so easy to use drag and drop / copy and paste make it effortless to use. The features are too many to get over in a review ... I am an amateur recorder re acquainting himself with recording after being an avid reel to reel analogue bloke back in the day and I cannot recommend this enough more than any home studio could wish for and more than holds its own in a ‘proper studio ‘ environment ..
None really .... needed some tech help with activating the upgrade ( more to do with my IT on a new to me Mac skills rather than the product but the online team were quick to help and get it running which is testament to the back up

Unexpectedly awesome
Z.R. 08.03.2021
Coming from 15yrs of ProTools from 6.7 thru12HD, I was not expecting to have such a swift transition. Most things work in a similar fashion and phylosophy, and moreover, I find it easier to get my things organized let it be a complex hybrid recording session or hybrid mixing.
Delay compensation and hardware inserts work like a bliss.
Using an Antelope Orion 32HD, I can enjoy 64/64 channels of analogue ins/outs via USB3, and Studio One 5 is able to beautifully support my workflow in a straightforward and logical way.

Top DAW!!
DJKimme169 08.11.2020
