Tight feel

The guitar is exactly what I've been searching for!
I recommend it for persons that want to experiment with other registers.
Things that I like about it:
- Tight strings even in drop A tuning. The lower string still sings, not flopping around.
- Good body proportions.

Baritone guitars rock!

I was after a baritone guitar and always wanted a PRS guitar. I got a two for one in this deal. The guitar exceeds my expectations and is a very versatile guitar. I'll be experimenting with different string sizes and of course tuning. I have not tried drop C or drop D tuning yet but tried some others and I do like the BtoB tuning it comes stock with from the factory. I really enjoy the low throaty roar this guitar has. The jumbo frets take some getting use to, but it's really nice. Great quality and finish too. I like the coil splitting pick ups from humbucker to single coil, adds more versatility again to this wonderful guitar. I was not able to buy this in the US as they were sold out at all the music stores at the time I was looking for one. I found it at Thomann and it was well worth the extra money to have shipped to me. The Thomann team was very supportive in helping me with this purchase. Thank you.

Weeeeeird

I does not play it barks on the lower strings. So it is something not for everybody. High strings are very powerful. Is sings beautifully. It is between Gibson and Telecaster. It has Gibsons lyricism and Telecasters fire. Until now I am not sure if I like it or hate it but every time I play it gets me somewhere strange. It is great wild instrument and it is made quite well too so I definitely recommend it for those who look for different sound. Clean sound is even weirder so go for it.

Tieftönende Hexa-string

Eins vorweg: sie ist Klasse und wird auf jeden Fall behalten - wer eine sehr gute 6-string-Baritone in der schönen PRS-Form sucht - zugreifen!

Setup & Verarbeitung war von Anfang an alles super, da gibt es nichts auszusetzten.
Klang ist insgesamt schön ausgewogen. Clean passt für mich, das ist ist mir aber nicht sooo wichtig. Doch im jedwedem Zerrspektrum blüht sie dann aber erst so richtig auf, also dort, wo vorwiegend ihr Einsatzgebiet bei mir ist. Tonabnehmer liefern auch einen sehr schön druckvollen und differenzierten Sound ab.

Sie hat echt einen schönen langen Hals, aber da gewöhnt man sich äußerst schnell dran, da sie sich auch sonst einfach super spielt! Er fühlt sich zwar schon etwas dicker an, muss ja auch einiges an Zug-Spannung aushalten :-) ist aber sehr angenehm und griffig und liegt gut in der Hand.

Einizg die Decken-Lackierung bzw. -Farbgebung und die Maserung unterscheiden sich auf den Bildern zu der im Original doch deutlich wahrnehmbar.
Die Oberflächen-Maserung ist nicht ganz so schön fein-gliedrig, was aber nicht schlimm ist, denn die Decke an sich schaut immer noch toll aus.
Die Farbgebung erscheint auf den Bildern eher in Richtung bräunlich, doch in Echt hat sie einen eher leichten jade-grünlich-gräulichen Schimmer, weshalb die Bezeichung vielleicht eher Charcoal "Jade-Grey" Burst heißen sollte.. ;-)

Leider kann man hier keine Fotos einstellen, aber dies wurde von mir vor längerem auch so schon an die T.-Gitarren-Abteilung kommuniziert mit der Antwort, man würde sich das mal anschauen und es an die Produkt-Abteilung weiter geben... schaun mer mal, bis heute sind die Bilder noch unverändert.
