This Guitar plays like butter!

So I wanted a new axe for a long time and my requirements were 24 frets and a tremollo system (preferrably not a floyd rose).

I considered many brands, but PRS stuck with me. PRS being like a love child between a Les Paul (my main guitar) and a Strat, it seem right up my alley!

And I must say! Boy does this guitar play well! Feels like butter.

So here are some pro's and Con's:
Pro's:
-Playability: This baby is on fire, feels amazing to play
-Looks: I mean she looks more stunning in real life
-Pickups: Sound awesome to me, I know some people are not too fond of the 85/15s, but to me they sound awesome and the coil split is really neat!
-Gigbag: the gigbag is of really nice quality I must say!

Con's:
Not much, only that my guitar had and issue with the Finish on the right wing of the body between to top and and side. And one of the screws on the bridge pickup was a bit pointy so I had some scraping on my skin, but that was taken care of.

All in all I must say that this guitar is one hell of an upgrade from my Epiphone Les Paul Custom!

Worth every penny to me!

Um es vorweg zu sagen, das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau. 😁
Sound und Bespielparkeit sind wie zu erwarten gut und bieten vielfältige Möglichkeiten. Werkseitg ist die Gitarre recht gut eingestellt. Nachjustierungen waren nicht notwendig.
Aber ... Schwächen im Finish ... Augenscheinlich wurde die farbige Lackierung auf der Oberseite des Korpus im montierten Zustand aufgetragen ... der Hals aber nicht sorgfältig angeklebt. Das darf keinesfalls bei einer Gitarre dieser Preisklasse passieren. Das passiert nicht mal einem ambitionierten Hobbyisten.
Das deutliche Brummen des Tonabnehmers im SC Modus .. ist für mich zu verschmerzen. Wer den SC Modus braucht, wird hier nacharbeiten müssen.
Der Sattel musste beim Aufziehen neuer Saiten auch nachgearbeitet werden, da die E Saite (0.42) eines 0.09'er Satzes im Sattel festklemmte. Das war vielleicht der Wink auf 0.08'er Saiten umzusteigen. 😁 Tja, dann hab ich die 0.10'er umsonst gekauft ...

Fazit: Ehrlicherweise habe ich von PRS (wenn's auch nur die SE ist) mehr Sorgfalt erwartet. An der Bespielbarkeit und dem Sound gibts nichts zu meckern.

Muy contento con esta guitarra, aguanta muy bien la afinación, no deja ruidos de fondo con volumen alto y suena muy bien en todas las gamas de sonidos, desde sonidos limpios hasta fuerte distorsión. Muy cómoda de tocar y un gran acabado.
