I put this on a Yamaha Maple Steve Gadd model as they were closest to the wires that were on it at first.. Dry,warm,sensitive and crisp. Did the job perfectly.Can't fault them.Great for drums with narrow snare beds

I like the feel of a rather dry snare.
So I wanted to test this one, and I found it too dry for my preference.

For a symphonic snare drum it will be perfect.

For a pop/rock snare I miss some of the bright sensitivity that I prefer for dynamic playing, and easy ghost notes.

Ich habe mir den Snare-Teppich geholt, weil ich mal was Neues ausprobieren wollte und bin sehr glücklich, dass ich das getan habe. Der Teppich ist toll verarbeitet und ist bei weitem nicht nur für Concert-Snares zu empfehlen! Ich spiele ihn auf einer mitteltief gestimmten LP Banda Snare und haue ordentlich drauf. Er klingt lose nach viel mehr als nur 12 Spiralen, aber auf eine tolle Weise. Er braucht sehr wenig Spannung um zu reagieren und lässt dadurch die Trommel angenehm frei schwingen. Bei höheren Stimmungen kommt er aber auch mit viel Spannung super klar. Außerdem dehnen sich die gefühlt nicht so schnell wie bei anderen Teppich, was für mich bei meiner Spiellautstärke häufiger ein Problem war. Ich denke, dass hängt mit den weiteren Windungen der Spiralen zusammen, ist ja aber auch egal. Das Ding ist super!
