I have it hidden under my pedalboard for stereo or backup. Line in and headphones out are amazing for practice. However, I had to RMA the first item because it blew up. The knobs are also not very solid.

Good alternative to the Magnum or Baby Bomb for Bass
PatTheCat, 12.04.2018
I got the Quilter after the Baby Bomb had too many negative reviews about life for me, and the EHX Magnum had rushed too much.

Short to the features:
Gain: Controls preamp, and distortion
Tri-Q: Is a shape slider, left warm and queasy, right sharp and precise. Mid neutral
Master: Volume stop, directly affects output and headphone jack

Important: The Gain prevents even in very low setting with output strong instruments no distortion!

Headphone jack, port for Aux, port for 4-16Ohm Cabinets

To the sound:
Electric guitar (baritone, normal and 7-string) and electric bass (5-string) were used
First the Gain: The built-in distortion is typical trans-Zerre. Fuzz Fuzz Fuzz. If you want to save yourself, rather use a distortion pedal, gain full left and work with volume.
The Quilter delivers a clean tone, with the Tri-Q can be additionally adjust the sound, but generally I leave this at 1-2 clock, for a little more highs.
Bass sounds like bass, guitar like guitar. The sun comes up, of course, if you hang the pedalboard in front of it, then the quilter also shows that it reflects the connected equipment cleanly, without any problems. Important again: Do not keep the output signal of the pedalboard unnecessarily high, otherwise the little one will pull.
Was in connection with DarkGlass A / O no problem, here was the signal on the DI out loud enough, so enough for typical stage applications.
For the guitar, the little one pushes nicely in the basses, so with its 45 watts it makes a lot of noise and sounds balanced. Here it is worthwhile to invest in effect pedals ala amp simulation (SansAmp, Harley Benton), because the pedals get along well here.

Processing:
The pedal is in a metal case, everything is nicely done. Jacks are stable.
Unattractive are the buttons, which wobble when setting back and forth, the potentiometers are soldered without attachment to the housing directly to the board. Since one does not step here with the foot, but that is bearable. Nothing for poti wings (which allow the setting by foot)!
Another minus is the power supply. Here you should first put the counterpart in the amplifier, and then the power supply to the power socket, otherwise you can watch the spark fly. There is no such thing as an off switch. If so recommended by Quilter in the manual, there are still nicer solutions (power supply with switch, for example). Remedy there is a power strip with switch, but first remove the speaker cable from the block, otherwise you have an unlovely, loud "Thump!".

For whom is the micro block interesting?
For those of you who want to make all the sound on the pedal board, and look for a small solution that's loud enough for the guitar (with the right speaker setup), and for bassists, it works well for a home / unplugged set or direct stage monitoring.

Due to the power supply problems and the potentiometers only a 4/5, hopefully there will be some improvement, sound is 1A, volume is considerable!
