Für mein Toms vom PDP Big Rock musste eine neue Befellung in den Grössen 13, 16 und 18 Zoll her. Weil ich mir was gönnen wollte, fiel meine Wahl auf die Remo Pinstripe-Felle, die ich für ihren Attack und das tiefschwarze Sustain eigentlich sehr schätze. Da es meinen Tomsatz nicht als Propack gibt, habe ich mir die Felle einzeln zusammenbestellt. Was soll ich sagen... jedes Fell klingt anders. Das 13er offen und klar, das 16er klingt dumpf und hat praktisch keine Obertöne im Sustain, das 18er dafür umso mehr. So inhomogen habe ich eine neue Befellung (und das in 35 Jahren Schlagzeugspielen) noch nie erlebt. Schade ums Geld und die Zeit, die ich für den vergeblichen Stimmversuch aufgewendet habe. Die Ambassadors auf meinem Pearl ELX zeigen sich in der Serienkonstanz deutlich überlegen.

comme dit dans le titre, cette peau Remo, une fois instalée sur mon tom basse 18", donne un son bien défini, rempli de basse profonde et d'harmonique (sans trop de résonance...). Pour conclure cette peau Remo double épaisseur à bain d'huile, rempli parfaitement sa fonction.. de plus une robustesse à toutes épreuve, l'acompagne. Je la recommande car en plus de ces critères, son prix n'est pas exéssif...
