Very good versatile and clean shotgun.
I have taken this on through hell and back and it still delivers.
Rode is just an amazing company!
It does however, drain a bit of battery. more than what i expected.
If i'd know that I would've gone with the NTG4+ that has a battery slot in it. Still, i don't leave home to record without it!

Exactly what is needed

Is this mic the best sounding shotgun in the world? Of course not. But for around 200 euro theres very few mics that would challenge it. The filters work great and really help cut out any low end rumble and the hi boost is great when it's going through a dead cat or blimp. Sturdy and reliable. Great mic to start a kit with.

Home Studio Recording, nice sound touch and easy to use. Clear sound and low ambient noise. Would love more bass before post processing. A very good one.

Lo utilizo en proyectos audiovisuales, sobretodo cortometrajes y castings.

Pros:
Compacto.
Excelente fabricación.
Sonido de gran calidad.
Nivel de ruido bajo.

Contras:
Debe apuntar y estar cerca de la fuente de sonido. (Es normal en los microfonos de cañon, pero lo pongo por si alguien no lo sabe)
Consume bastante, reduce la durabilidad de la bateria de la grabadora portatil al rededor de un 20% al alimentarse por phantom.

Recomindo usarlo junto a grabadoras enchufables a corriente o tener pilas recargables extra para la grabadora portatil.
