And if it’s more low-end you crave, the AC-60 even gives you a Subwoofer output.

The Guitar channel gives you a choice between piezo and magnetic pickup inputs, plus powerful Anti-Feedback controls. Rounding out this package is a Mute switch for silent tuning and a Stereo Line Out for connection to mixing consoles and PA systems.

A little powerhouse
Patrick1246, 22.07.2015
Hard to believe that an amp this small can do so much, but it can. Before I bought this, I also tried out the Marshall 50 watt competitor- rented both for a gig and played them both on stage the same night. There was no comparison in the sound quality. The Roland may cost more than some other acoustic amps, but the features and the sound quality are worth the price.

Small and powerful
12.10.2015
This is a great guitar combo for smaller venues if you're looking for something easy to carry around and want to leave mixers and monitor stands at home.

I was a bit surprised at first by the size of the AC-60 as I thought it looked considerably smaller in reality than from looking at the pictures. As with all Roland products, it's sleek and cool looking. It comes in a great tour bag which features a cable pocket, and a small stand under the bottom that folds up to give the speakers a higher angle.

Inputs are great, nice versatility with stereo AUX input jacks at the rear, and the line out and sub woofer out may come in handy if you're hooking up into a bigger rig on stage.

The amp gives more than enough power in the low mid to high register, which is great for guitars and vocals, but it must be pointed out this is not a full range speaker and if you're looking for low bass you will be disappointed. Therefore I wouldn't recommend it as a keyboard speaker other than for really small rooms or specific instrument patches like maybe Rhodes or Clavinets that don't necessarily have to go a lot below 200Hz. It's definitely not a bass speaker. That having been said, it does a decent job for its considerable portability.

In short, it's a great high quality light-weight product that does exactly what it should - amplify acoustic guitar and vocals.

Klein aber oho! Teuer aber nie bereut - der Roland AC60
ThomasP, 14.10.2009
