Made of sturdy aluminium with wooden sides
The modules can be mounted on the rails with M3 screws and connected to the power cable in the case

nice case with sturdy lid

Feels strong but not too heavy. Lid is not actually protecting against the dust and moisture. Thats bitty because it limits the case to be used only in the studio.

Roland Eurorack Case: Qualität hat seinen Preis

Das Gehäuse ist sehr präzise gebaut, Bohrungen im Holz sind sauber entgratet, das Metall ist gebürstet und eloxiert. Das Case kann sich sehen lassen und kann sehr variabel aufgestellt werden. Man kann ein weiteres Gehäuse darauf befestigen, die Möglichkeit zu Erweiterung werde ich demnächst nutzen.Der Deckel kann auf der Rückseite des Gehäuses festgemacht werden, dann ist die Auflagefläche größer und damit der Stand stabiler.

Das Netzteil hat eine hohe Leistung (+12V 2000mA, -12V 500mA, +5V 300mA) und ist frei von Nebengeräuschen (ich hatte ein ähnliches Case von einem französischen Hersteller, das ein lautes Pfeifgeräusch im Signal der Module erzeugte, selbst die Ersatzlieferung war nicht besser). Dass der Anschluss und der Schalter auf der Rückseite sind hat den Vorteil, dass man nicht versehentlich an den Schalter kommt, wenn man auf der Frontseite in Action ist. Leider ist das Kabel nicht arretierbar.

Man merkt die qualitativ hochwertige Fertigung auch am Preis, dieser ist aber im direkten Vergleich meiner Meinung nach gerechtfertigt. Es hat eher die Anmutung eines wertvollen Instrumentencases. Einzig die notwendigen längeren 3mm Schrauben sind ärgerlich, da aber schwarze Schrauben beiliegen kann das verschmerzt werden.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Case und kann es empfehlen.

Schmuckes Case mit viel Power.

Ich hatte mir dieses Case für Unterwegs gekauft. Es bietet Platz für eine Handvoll Module, genauer gesagt 84TE - bei Modulen mit etwas luftigerer Frontplatte auch mal 85TE.

Das Netzteil bietet mit 2A ordentlich Kraft für eine Vielzahl stromfressender Module, die Verarbeitung ist wirklich sehr gut und das Case sieht sehr edel als auch hochwertig aus. Praktisch ist auch die abgeschrägte Unterseite, um das Case angewinkelt auf den Tisch zu stellen.

Der Preis ist soweit auch in Ordnung. Wünschenswert wäre wenn statt dem Flying Bus Cable eine Platine mit Steckern verbaut wäre. Außerdem ist es ärgerlich das man durch die sehr tief gelegene Gewindestreifen keine Standard M3 Schrauben nutzen kann, sondern lediglich längere M3 Schrauben - welche aber dem Case beiliegen.

Dennoch: ein rundum gutes Case!
