Roth & Junius Europa Stroh Violin / Stroviol 4/4, made in Europe. The Stroh violin (developped by Johannes Matthias Augustus Stroh 1828-1914) is a combination of a violin and a trumpetwhich works on the gramophone principle. The bridge rests on a resonant membrane that picks up vibrations through a thin rod (needle), which has the role of conducting mechanical vibrations, so the resulting sound is amplified inside the trumpet. Maple bridge, maple neck and body, ebony fingerboard, tailpiece without finadjusters, guitar-like metal machines for comfortable fine-tuning, brass-trumpet, steel strings, coames with soft bag.
