Very good souding pickups …But

I really like the sound of these puckups and the quality …
The 2 problems i found was the pole pieces are lower in the E and G
So that makes my E string sound at lower volume
And the pole pieces are not grounded
So if you touch the pole pieces they will make noise…
Im returning this pickups …
Cause at that price they need to be totally noise free…

Fyi.. Lindy Fralins are the same way ..🤦🏻‍♂️

Ich habe die Pickups bestellt, weil ich sehr gute Erfahrungen mit vor 5 Jahren direkt von Sadwowsky gekauften USA split coil Tonabnehmern hatte. Ich war von diesen J-Bass Tonabnehmern begeistert, sie klangen sehr ausgewogen, mit klaren, warmen Mitten und sehr angenehmen Höhen und Bässen. So wie man das von Premium-Tonabnehmern erwartet. Um so enttäuschter war ich von den nun gelieferten Pickups. Sie klingen etwas undefiniert in den Mitten und harsch in den Höhen. Die Basswiedergabe ist OK. Im Gesamtbild sehr durchschnittlich. Für in Korea hergestellte Pickups (was kein Qualitätsnachteil sein muss) doch relativ teuer. Ärgerlich ist der Softtouchlack-Überzug der Pickupkappen. Die Haptik ist sehr edel, aber schon nach ein paar Spielstunden blättert der Lack dort ab, wo der Pickup als Daumenstütze verwendet wird. Das sieht dann eher blöd aus. Fazit: ein durchschnittliches J-Bass set, in edler Aufmachung, aber objektiv gesehen zu teuer.
