Nice build quality
True LUFS 03.04.2023
This is my second Schecter 8 string.
The build quality is very nice. Great feeling neck, nice fretwork, beautiful finish. I bought this guitar primarily for its coil split feature. I love the split sound and the fact that you can control each pickup with its own volume. Being able to set the pickup levels independently allows for alot of tonal variety. When using the bridge humbucker for more heavy sounds, I need to use an overdrive pedal to tighten up the low notes. For stock pickups, they are quite usable.

The guitar is supposed to come with Ernie Ball 9-80 strings. They felt a little tight for my tired old fingers so I changed them to a set of 9-80 that I have on hand. Much Better! After I setup the intonation on the guitar, it played great. I guess the factory strings were another gauge altogether.
The tuners were also a little loose so I had to tighten them a little(no biggie).

With a little adjustment, this is a fun guitar to play.
