For me this guitar is one multi-purpose instrument. I use it to basically record everything for my instrumental ambient project from leads, chords to bass with the proper equipment. This was an important aspect for me to play live.

This instrument was clearly not built for this sort of music, and it is not the exact same tone that I was looking for, but the range, the versatility and build quality just made up for it. I had little to no problem with staying in tune.

In my metal band project I play this guitar too, the only critique I had is the neck is a bit short, the lower notes act kind of odd, but it's manageable.

Had a blast with this one, it was a truly great purchase.

Cheers

One monster of a guitar for a really nice price
Gatasassy 17.09.2018
Despite the hard to play 24th frets and the weak mids. This guitar offers a really nice sound and a really comfortable feel for being an 8 string.Normally many say that the change from 6 to 8 strings might be a difficult task, but this guitar offers a smooth transition that I doubt I could have achieved with any other. I really enjoy the feel of the guitar as well, and the aesthetics of it are just phenomal. I recommend this guitar for anyone looking for their first 8 string and anyone looking for a great 8 stringn for a really simple budget.

W
A very good budget guitar from Schecter
Wolfieselket 03.01.2019
This guitar is great for the price.

Pros:
Thin and satin finished neck
No sharp frets.
No flaws in the finish (on the guitar I received)
A nice looking guitar, I am particularly found of the inlays.
Satin finish on the body is nice
Reasonably low action out of the box and strung with good strings.
Seems to stay in tune reasonably well

Pro/Con: Tight string spacing, especially towards the nut.

Cons:
Pickups are a bit muddy
Frets on the guitar I received needed polishing

For the price its an amazing guitar. Pickups arent the best sounding but will change those soon. Another thing is that for some reason the pickup switch turns off when I put it in the middle.
