i was testing similar mouthpieces ( Vandoren Profile, Selmer Concept, Daddario Reserve, Selmer s80, Rousseau Alto Studio Jazz 6 ) . the Soloist c* is the best mouthpiece for me. it has a very warm and centred sound. it plays easy and smooth at lower and upper registers. with this mouthpiece is easier to play in tune.

Das Mundstück hat einen sehr weichen und klaren Klang. Die oberen Töne springen gut an, im unteren Tonbereich etwas schwerer, aber alle Töne klingen voll und schön. Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit diesem Mundstück, da es bei den verschiedensten Stücken mit unterschiedlichem Charakter gut klingt.

En continuité avec mon Selmer S80 je cherchais un bec un peu plus expressif. Le Soloist génère plus d'harmoniques et permet de monter facilement dans les aigus tout en restituant très bien les graves. J'utilise une ligature Vandoren Optimum et des anches d'Addario Reserve sur mon Selmer B. A.
