Topmondstuk

Klari Net 02.10.2021

Opvallend is het speelgemak van dit mondstuk: snel staccato, hoge noten, ppp een noot aanzetten, alles gaat moeiteloos. De toon is rond en lieflijk in alle registers. Bij veel mondstukken die ik de laatste tijd getest heb was dat anders: een mondstuk met een mooie klank in het lage register had een schelle klank in het hoge register, of een mondstuk met mooie klank in het hoge register had in het lage register een stoffig en kaal geluid.
Bij dit mondstuk is de klankkwaliteit in alle registers even goed. Ook qua intonatie is dit het beste mondstuk van alle mondstukken die ik de afgelopen tijd heb geprobeerd.
Kortom, ik kan iedereen aanraden dit mondstuk (en overigens ook de Concept en Focus van Selmer) eens te proberen.
Het riet waarop ik speel is Steuer White Line French sterkte 3 (helaas slecht verkrijgbaar).

Wat een mondstuk!

klarinet speler 02.05.2022

Toon is natuurlijk een kwestie van smaak, maar voor mij klinkt dit mondstuk heerlijk.

Wat wellicht nog veel belangrijker is: dit mondstuk is zeer vriendelijk voor rieten. Ik heb nauwelijks nog rieten die weggegooid moeten (ze klinken niet allemaal geweldig, maar ze zijn tenminste speelbaar).

Ik heb de mogelijk om 2 van deze mondstukken naast elkaar te spelen en ik voel en hoor zo weinig verschil dat het verwaarloosbaar is, dus ook daar lijkt dit mondstuk zeer gemakkelijk te zijn.
