Great Headset -- Until it Breaks.
After using an HMD 26 provided by a rental company, I knew I had to get one of my own.
I chose to purchase through Thomann due to immediate availability; shipping and delivery were quick and painless. For the five months that I've been able to use this headset, it's made me not have to worry about what my communications headset would be, because I had one with me at all times.
During the middle of April, I noticed that the flexible portion of the boom arm became loose and would not stay fixed in front of my face anymore -- after several days of missed communications with my team and constant re-adjustment, it ended up breaking completely -- no more microphone for me...
I'm in the process of filing an RMA, but just want to warn users of this product's delicate components and how it breaks after regular wear & tear.
