I bought this pick up for a handmade telecaster, I wanted it to sound jazzy, clean but also with a bit of rock n roll. This pickup for instance was to loud, too harsh, but when adjusting it lower, the sound became crystal clear, all strings with same gain. Very versatile for any kind of music.

Nachdem ich diesen PU schon in einer Framus Renegade und eine Les Paul hatte, habe ich ihn jetzt auch in beine Telecaster eingebaut um Sie am Hals einfach etwas mehr singen zu lassen und einfach einen Fetteren Sound zu haben. Ich empfehle auf jeden fall den SH-1 splittbar einzubauen, da auch der Single-Coil betrieb sehr gut klingt und man so den originalen Tele-Sound behält. Bei meiner Tele habe ich ihn mit einem Chopper T von DiMarzio kombiniert.

Diese beiden harmonieren bestens. Dieser PU hört sich einfach in jeder Art von Gitarre gut an und meiner Tele hat er ganz besonders gut getan. Ausserdem sieht sie mit dem Full-Size Humbucker am Hals auch noch besser aus. Ist ein netter nebeneffekt. Der SH-1 ist übrigens auch in der Signature Tele von Andy Summers (The Police) eingebaut.
