The studio standard sample player/replacer
Tamas.V. 15.10.2020
It's a great tool in the studio! I use it in every single project even if I'm not using drum samples.

Pros - it can create MIDI of your audio peaks (drum hits) so so much more accurate than the DAW's built-in Audio-to-MIDI function! Makes work much faster and easier to set up my MIDI for gates!
Also I like the way it handle samples - the built-in mixer.
I didn't really use it for real-time triggering only when recording triggered kick drum I using it to feed a kick sample sound to the drummer's headphones.

Cons - The "tune" funcion could come in handy sometimes but it's not that great - you better looking for other plugin (waves) for that.
If you have multiple samples you want to blend you need two audio tracks with 1-1 trigger instances on them because you cannot delay the samples inside the plugin's mixer to phase align them.

If you want to program drums from scratch you better look instead into other stuff like GGD - but if you want sample replace/reinforce drums or make your own samples this is a no brainer!

Great tool
Nola 23.03.2022
This can really add punch for recordongs of drumseven with only one microphone on base and one on snare drum.
If you have solid drumkit and only one mic per element and your kit sounds ok but not great - yust mix your recorded sound and add prerecorded samples. However do not add more than 60% of sample.
Hey, this is how The Cure did it even when playing live.

Great drum replacement tool
Solitaire 28.03.2022
Easy to use and very powerful features. This is a must if you need to replace a real drum kit elements. You get the feel of the real player but the a huge library of different drums to choose from. This has saved my mixes on a couple of live recording where the drums being used were noisy, out of tune or just sounded bad.

Not bad but not great either

Sounds very fake if used at 100%. Blended with real drums or software, it can add to the drum sound at lesser percentages.
