I was really looking forward to this guitar. The specs of the guitar were really promising and I really like At the Gates, so i thought nothing could go wrong. But the quality control with solar really sucks. This is the 3rd solar guitar I ordered and then returned due to qc issues. The Solar logo on the headstock was already peeling off when i received the guitar and there was a huge scratch between the neck and body.
The guitar was set up horribly, which usually is not a big deal, but the truss rod wasn't easily adjustable at all.

The guitar looks very nice though and the sound is ok too.
The evertune bridge works nicely and was the biggest selling point for me. But unfortunately due to qc issues i will once again return another solar and i dont think i will try another one anytime soon.

Ich habe mir schon viele Gitarren gegönnt, aber meiner Meinung haben Ola's Gitarren bei Features und Verarbeitung das beste Preis- Leistungsverhältnis.

Für die "ATG" hab ich mich nicht wegen "At the Gates", sondern weil sie optisch einfach richtig reinhaut, zudem Fishman Pickups, nur einen Volume Knopf (Push/Pull) und einen 3 Way Switch hat entschieden.
Sie sieht dadurch richtig schön clean aus.
Zudem ist es die schwärzeste Axt die ich je gesehen habe.

2. Kaufargument war die Evertune Bridge, die wollte ich schon immer einmal testen. Was soll ich sagen, ich bin ziemlich begeistert und
so kompliziert wie man denkt ist das einstellen nicht.

Das 3. Argument ist Ola Englund himself.
Ich mag solche sympathischen Typen die gute Produkte verkaufen,
deswegen spiele ich auch einen Bluguitar Amp 1 Iridium von Thomas Blug.

Die Gitarre war super verarbeitet, da habe ich bei anderen (auch teureren) schon mehr zu meckern gehabt.(ESP Ltds, Ibanez, Strandberg)

Hier keine Lackprobleme, keine gratigen Bundstäbe , super eingestellt und dank Evertune in tune :)
Die Bespielbarkeit ist für mich einfach perfekt.

Das die Gitarre schon mit Straplocks kommt , ist ja eigentlich schon geil und sie sind auch nicht schlecht, aber ich habe sie durch die Schaller S-Locks ersetzt, die haben doch noch etwas bessere Qualität.

Alles in allem war ich so zufrieden, dass ich mir für tiefere Tunings noch eine 2. Solar geholt habe :)
Eine A1.6D Ltd ,welche direkt aus Spanien kam. Auch top verarbeitet und optisch einfach ein Traum ist.
Ich kann also nur positives über Solar Guitars berichten und eine klare Kaufempfehlung aussprechen.

Pas du tout déçu de ma première Solar, cette guitare est taillée pour le métal et les gros riffs , l'evertune est idéale pour ce genre de guitare ou l'on peu attaquer les cordes sans craintes de désaccorder. La finition est parfaite sur mon exemplaire. Je la possède depuis une semaine , et c'est que du bon . Seul petit reproche : pas de pile 9v fournie avec . Sinon colis parfaitement emballé , bravo Thomann.
