It does everything I wanted and it was cheaper then all other option

Perfect guitar to play some death and doom metal. It gives a nice low end. On the mids and highs it nicely cuts through.
On the clean, its a bit thin, I would go for other pickups but in the high gain its very smooth.
For playability, its my first 7-string but the adjustment to it went very smooth. Its a 7-string, but still has a thin neck (like it more then a fender neck for example).
For quality: perfect setup, no tuning issues, paint was perfect, nothing I can say that was wrong.
Have the guitar now for 6 months, never regretted that I bought this one.

h
EXCELLENCE..!!!
hatebreedgr 27.05.2019
For the money nothing can beat this thing...
The fretwork is excellent, paint job is also very nice, the solar tuners hold the tuning very well, no issues there...only thing is that the action right out of the box is a little high (2mm on each string) but that's easily fixed.
Plays and sounds better than my Schecter KM-7 MKI i previous had.

For anyone looking for a 7string, going with Solar guitars is a ''no brainer''...

f
Very happy with this guitar
frittate 08.04.2021
My first 7-string and boy, it's a monster! Everything feels smoother and lighter than on my old guitar (Jackson), it's just a bunch of fun to play! I feel the pickups are doing their job, sometimes I wish for more punch and heaviness, but that is most likely an issue with my amp setup and not with the guitar.

A
Amazing guitar until you change pickups
André- 29.03.2023
First of all, the guitar is amazing. All was in perfect order.
BUT... I wanted to change the pickups for a pair of Fishman Fluence Modern and that was when the problems started:
- The screws. They wouldn't come out, when I finally took them out with the help of some pliers, I saw that there were 2 or three holes in the wood per screw, as if the person that installed the pickups was drunk.
- The pickups compartments. They are rounded. The fishman don't fit. I had to carve the wood to the fitting shape. I also instaĺled rings to mask the carving and because I really didn't want to direct mount anymore in the gruyere-like wood.
- If you want to install the Fishman universal battery pack you should know: if you want to put the 2 push pull knobs it won't fit. The solution: 1 push pull knob, 1 mini toggle (make the hole) and more carving in the electronics compartment.
I hope this helps whoever wants to change the pickups or install some Fishman.
Anyway after all this work my guitar rocks and I'm pretty sure it's unique...
