true fuzzface with extra possibilities

The sound is really good and 100 % fuzz face. The extra's don't get in the way of the sound : Smart eq toggleswitch ( nuanced eq, not extreme), volt and bias switch. So the basic sound is the fuzz face without any effort. But the tweaking is interesting, especially the gating. You can get a Maestro sound too. If you want a reall fuzz face sound, tweakable at a good price: this is a very good option. At the other hand, a fuzz face with only one or two knobs has it's charms too.

La Fuzz c'est la vie!

Excellente pédale très versatile... de la Fuzz légère au gros son bien gras qui tâche et éclabousse grâce à ses différents réglages, Bias, Fuzz, Saturation... la fonction Body permet de choisir entre 3 tonalités (basse, médium et aigüe). La fonction Volt permet elle de créer l'effet "pile morte" qui fait craquer le son pour un son fuzzy allant des 60's à Jack White. Dans l'esprit, cet effet est très proche de la Feed Me mk2 de chez Anasounds mais avec une facilité et une gamme de réglages qui me semble encore plus affinée. C'est la 2ème pédale que j'achète de cette excellente marque Solid Gold FX, la première étant la Supafunk et franchement ça donne envie d'en tester d'autres. Le look est classe et la solidité semble incontestable. Je recommande donc la If 6 was 9 à tout amateur de Fuzz car comme le dit Julien Bitoun: "la Fuzz c'est la vie ! "

Pedale ben costruito, solido e accattivante a livello estetico.
Molti i controlli che permettono di variare enormemente il suono del fuzz,
dal vintage al gated.
Il bc 183 ha un suono piuttosto tagliente che può essere addomesticato giocando con il BIAS e il Voltaggio che in senso antiorario diminuisce l'headroom provocando più compressione.
Il Fuzz dà il suo meglio quasi a fine corsa come per la saturazione.
Lo switch permette di avere suono con più bassi (fat) , esaltare gli alti (treble booster) o il tipico Fuzz Face.
Per quanto riguarda l'uso del volume della chitarra , il pedale risponde benissimo regalando puliti veramente cristallini ( molto dipende da come si regolano Bias / Voltaggio / Saturazione ).
