Must have for everyone

I use Cubase to make and mix my music in my home studio for about three years. Of course, I use some additional plugins (Waves, soundtoys, etc), but Steinberg did a really good job with their own plugins, which sound great (amps, racks, delays, reverbs) especially after my old Cubase 5.
But what I liked the most — VariAudio, which makes absolutely smooth pitch correction to vocals. Included big collection of loops and samples gives space to make some music in a new way.
The same can be said about 'Groove Agent'. Don't have any idea what to do with the drum part? Just choose one of the preset closer to the mood of your track, drag and drop the patterns to your midi track with your favorite drum pack, make little corrections, and that's it — ideal drums are ready just in a few clicks.
The interface is really friendly. It's this nonsense, of course, but I like that now I can choose an icon for each track. Now the navigation inside the project can be organized not only with colors but also with icons.
And (that's really important) Cubase 10 is stable. It has been almost a year since I bought it, and during this time the program has never glitched. Definitely, I recommend this DAW to everyone: from amateurs to professionals.

I'm a singer / songwriter. I've been using older version of cubase for a few years now. I got this one because the workflow is way much better on cubae 10 /11. If you want to upgrade from an older version - it is definitely worth it. If you are new to producing music, but concider it as a job in the future and worry if it is worth it - it is. Cause sooner or later you will have to upgrade anyway. If you just concider it as a hobby for now, but still want to have a great range of tools to produce some great quality stuff - just go with the Artist version and maybe later upgrade. I would go for Elements only for basic recording and maybe some podcast for videos. Cubase is easy and clear to use with time.

A very long time was going to buy this DAW, but it was expensive for.
And suddenly accidentally decided to visit Thomann and saw information about Steinberg 30th aniversary... Next 5 minute i placed an order! :) And now i'm using licensed Cubase PRO 10 insted of cracked Cubase 5 :) Now Thomann my favorite music store! Thanks Steinberg and Thomann!

I've worked with various versions of Cubase for more than 10 years.

It's just my DAW of choice as it does everything I need it to do from audio processing, editing, mixing, and MIDI as well.

I bought it at a half price because it was Cubase's 30th birthday and didn't think twice. Great buy.

Easily best daw you can get right now

I use Cubase for recording and mixing in my studio. With latest update to version 10 and all new features it's hard to beat.
New version of Variaudio is incredible tool - it's great sounding, very intuitive and have so many great options which make vocal editing much easier and faster. Also new Audio Alignment option is amazing! I saved so many time thanks to that.
Cubase is also very user friendly. You can fully customize it to your taste and needs to match or improve your workflow. The interface layout is so intuitive and very nice looking.
Update to version 10 is huge step upward for my workflow and its quality. I highly recomend it for any musician or engineer!
Cubase is unbeatable and killing the DAW game right now.

THE BEST DAW!!

i have been using Cubase 5 and FL Studio for a while now and since it was not a x64-bit operating system, i changed to Presonus StudioOne 3 but i wanted to get hold of Cubase and i bought it and damn!i can say that this is the best DAW for musicians who are into the rock and metal genres because it is very easy to operate and it handles my plugins very well!the only problem i had was with midi editing (since i edit all my midi on FL Studio) and the installation!but after you are done with it, it is very easy and i must say the interface is super cool and east to understand! Best purchase i have ever made!
PS. IT HAS NEVER CRASHED!!!(unlike the old CUBASES)

Buy host software for the first time

The program for music production

Switched back from logic pro x after 10 years. Gotta say i missed Cubase. Works as expected. The midi handling is top notch. It came in a small box with just the eLicencer. Had to download the actual program. Activation was a breeze. Really like the new functions, especially the audio editing is excellent. Everybody knows why to buy this, so 5 stars

The Best DAW for me

I'm a Cubase user since the mid-2000s. This version is definitely the best of all. Installation and setting up the software went without problems and fast. Everything is running smooth and stable. PC is AMD 8-core with 16G RAM, Windows 10. Recommended.
