Ich nutze Halion Sonic 3 im Homestudio. Die etwas sperrige Bedienung kann man aufgrund der hervorragenden Soundqualität verschmerzen. Leider treten unter Cockos Reaper sehr häufig Abstürze auch in sehr kleinen Projekten auf, unabhängig von der Art der Einbindung. Mein System läuft sonst super stabil mit einer Vielzahl unterschiedlichster VSTs.

Eine günstige Soundbibliothek

Die Menge der Sounds ist überwältigend, ich denke hier findet jeder was er braucht.
Ich trete solo oder im Duo als Unterhaltungsmusiker mit Musik "querbeet" auf. Dieses Feld wird mit dem Soundangebot für meinen Bedarf gut abgedeckt .
Allerdings ist doch eine gehörige Menge Zeit einzuplanen, um sich in diese Software einzuarbeiten. Da bin ich immer noch (nun doch seit etwa 5 Monaten) im Lernprozess und setze deshalb für Auftritte immer noch mein Tyros4 ein.
Ziel war, bei Auftritten nur mit Gitarre, auf die HalionSonic Sounds zurück zu greifen.
Wahrscheinlich ist dies nur praktikabel, wenn man für Auftritte Audio-Playback erstellt. Mit der Software auf die Bühne ist mit Blick auf die Betriebssicherheit (wobei auch ein leistungsfähiger Rechner vorhanden sein muss, 64-Bit System ist Voraussetzung) nicht ratsam.
So erfüllt mit diese Software bisher nicht meinen Wunsch, auf das Keyboard bei Auftritten zu verzichten, aber trotzdem habe ich den Kauf nicht bereut. Mit dieser Soundbibliothek kann man sehr lange immer wieder Neues entdecken und auch prima überzeugende Audio-Playbacks für Auftritte herstellen.
Ich persönlich vermisse dabei lediglich die Flexibilität bei geringer Dateigröße der Midi-Files.
Berücksichtigen (und vor dem Kauf prüfen) sollte man unbedingt die Anforderungen an den Rechner. Und leider gibt es die Software nicht auf physikalischen Datenträgern sondern nur als Download. Rund 27 GB können da, je nach vorhandenem Internet-Anschluss, schon mal eine Herausforderung werden.

Fazit:
Mein Ziel Halion Sonic 3 bei Life-Auftritten einzusetzen erreiche ich nicht.
Dennoch eine lohnende Anschaffung für die Arbeit im kleinen Heimstudio und dort auch Grundlage für klasse Audio-Playbacks für besondere Anlässe.

Löytyy paljon soittimia ja efektejä ja muuta, mutta jos käytät Fl studiota niin varaudu siihen että plugari kaatuu. Jostain syystä HALion Sonic 3 ei toimi vakaasti fl studiossa.
