Outstanding.

The instrument is a great practisetool, i can honestly say that its conveniant size has allowed me to practise more and has helped me to polish my fingertechnique. wich in effect has made me a better bassplayer.
It has a pretty high level of craftsmanship (for its pricerange) and it can take a fair amount of abuse before it fails you.
It might not have a top end clean tone for the big rig, but it takes you all the way there (and with a decent stomp/outboard effect you reach the finishline.

And to tip the scale from a great to an excellent deal, Thomann Musichaus was (as usual) outstanding.
I might live in another country, around 3000kilometers away, but Thoman still feels closer than my local musicstore.

Better than you might think of it

I play rock and heavy metal and tried the steinberger pedal as it is of wood and passive pickups, a typical constellation for rock music, as other bass brands take this combination, too. Take the cheap steinberger bass strings and you'll get the desired sound. It really is some kind of dry and produces a great passive rock tone

That Geddy 80s Look

I love this guitar. Very convenient to play around the house without banging into furniture etc. Very comfortable to play as it’s so light and sounds excellent. When it arrived a couple of frets were slightly tarnished but Thomann couldn’t have been more helpful and rushed a fret polishing kit to me free of charge which made them pristine in a few moments.
