Standout advantages:
- appearance (looks better in real life than in the photo)
- tremolo for fan frets and 7 strings, has several tuning options and stays in tune well
- universal pickups
- good materials (reliable and pleasant)
- good weight for 7 strings

Cons:
- not ideal build quality
- not an ideal tremolo system
- not the largest set of pickup combinations

About the build quality:
- My instrument came with grooves under the 2nd and 3rd strings at the 0th fret. Sometimes on bends you hear the sound of a string jumping out of the groove.
- Tremolo from a problem batch, in which the design of the tremolo arm holder can become loose and prevent the tremolo from working. Easily fixed with glue, but for a musical instrument in this price category it is unpleasant
- In my case, the tremolo arm mounting nut was not yet tightened to the required angle. Its corner did not fit into the recess in the tree.
- The tremolo itself has several configuration options: two options for the location of the rotation point and the ability to install the required number of springs. I wanted a flutter effect and a deep tremolo range. To do this, it was necessary to simultaneously shift the point of rotation and leave two springs. With standard springs it was not possible to achieve the desired effect (with the screws tightened to the maximum and the springs at an angle, the tremolo was not quite parallel to the body). I had to buy FU-Tone Purple springs - they coped with the task when placing the springs in parallel, as a bonus - they matched the color perfectly

As a result - a good musical instrument, a good working tool, an excellent set of modern technological solutions, but not perfect from the factory.

Cela faisait plusieurs mois que je voyais cette Strandberg, je la trouvais tout simplement splendide et elle semblait avoir toute le caractéristique que je recherchais sur une guitare; c'était devenu LA guitare de mes rêves.
Je l'ai reçu et première prise en main d'une Strandberg, une vrai claque. Peu de guitare peuvent se vanté d'offrir un tel confort de jeu: la forme du corps permettant différentes positions de jeu, le profile du manche qui suit la forme du pouce, les micros Fishman Fluence Splitable, et la qualité général de l'instrument, SAUF... le vibrato*!

Le vibrato de Fabrication Strandberg est de loin l'une pire choses que j'ai eu le malheur d'utiliser, d'une rare imprécision, d'une maniabilité plus que grossière; j'ai des Harley Benton 100x moins cher qui fonctionne mille fois mieux.
Quand on achète une guitare à un tel prix un vibrato aussi mauvais n'est pas un détail, c'est un énorme point négatif, surtout que même si vous décider de ne pas l'utiliser, le chevalet reste flottant et votre guitare tien moins bien les accordage.
Je l'ai donc renvoyer à Thomann qui comme à son habitude a fournis un service plus qu'exemplaire, mais c'est profondément déçu que je vous déconseille n'importe quelle Strandberg possédant un Vibrato, dommage qu'il n'existe pas le même modèle sans vibrato car cela aurait été parfait.

Un diseño y acabado impecable, extraordinariamente ligera comparada con cualquier otra guitarra que te obliga en el primer momento que la coges a adaptar tu manera de tocar a este mástil especial.
Probada con pedalera Digitech RP-12 y Line 6 Helix a través de amplificadores clase D y monitores Yamaha NS-10 el sonido es rico, brillante y sostenido. Amplio espectro de graves medios y agudos.
El juego de pastillas dan mucho de sí para diferentes tipos de configuración de distorsiones.

L'instrument est arrivé 48H après ma commande, parfaitement réglé.
La finition est nickel.
Ce qui surprend le plus est la légèreté de la guitare pour une 7 cordes, elle est même plus légère que mes autres 6 cordes, Strandberg fait fort la dessu.
La particularité du manche "endurneck" est assez déroutante au début mais s'avère particulièrement efficace au bout de quelques heures de jeu.
Côté son rien a dire, les micros fishman fluence sont excellent de précision et grace au 2 push pull vous pouvez jouer n'importe quel style.
C'est ma première Strandberg et surement pas la dernière!
