First Impressions - Excellent

After the first week of ownership this amp has ousted my 64 Princeton and DSL15C to become No 1 of my favourite amps. I've tried the head with a selection of speakers and the sound always comes through as soft but clear, no harshness. The tremolo is smooth and natural as is the reverb. When both channels are in use the overdrive is full and has clarity without harshness.

I use the amp at home (which is why I don't like harshness). Having the master volume allows me to use the preamp overdrive at low volume level but at 25W it has a useable volume range when the neighbours are out.

A brief review which I will hopefully update in time when I have used it more.

Das Topteil macht einen hochwertigen Eindruck und sieht einfach umwerfend aus.
Voller, perliger Cleansound, mit Vol. 1 + 2 kann man seinen lieblings Crunch einstellen. Die Gainreserven sind überschaubar, ein Booster ist also empfehlenswert. Ich verwende ihn als Basis für mein Pedalboard, das harmoniert sehr gut. Der Federhall des Top ist nicht nach meinem Geschmack, das Gitarrensignal wird gesplittet und am Ausgang kommt ein Mix aus Hall und trockenen Signal heraus, das man nicht anpassen kann. Dadurch ist der Hallsound sehr im Hintergrund. Das Tremolo ist ein Traum! Davon bekommt man nicht genug.Was mich wirklich beeindruckt ist die leise Arbeitsweise, ich habe noch nie ein Röhrenamp mit so wenig Grundrauschen erlebt, eine Wohltat. Ich habe auch einen Marshall SV20 Head da, der ähnlich klingt, aber schwerer zu bändigen ist. Der Supro klingt weicher und bildet mehr Details ab (im Bereich von Nuancen). Leider kein Effektweg.

Das ist bereits mein 3er Supro.
Mit einer alten 1x12er Box.
Einer vintage Strat oder Paula, wird man wirklich mit einem leichten, klaren Chrunch belohnt. Aufgedreht klingt es manchmal zu bassig und dröhnent. Also eher was fürs Studio... Diesmal funktioniert der Reverb auch gut, bei der Combo Version war der zu schnell auf 100. Für den Preis eine sehr gute Alternative zu den üblichen Verdächtigen. Das Top ist ansonsten gut verarbeitet und sieht einfach nur mega gut aus.
