Switchcraft Straight Toggle Switch GD

Purchased this toggle as part of a larger order. Ease of purchase, shipping and delivery to Ireland was simple, straight forward and in good time as always.

The toggle was used to replace a toggle switch being used with EMG pickups and their solderless system in a Les Paul guitar. That toggle wasn't working 100% of the time so I chose this as the replacement.

Replacing the existing toggle was a simple swap out. Soldering the connections on the Switchcraft toggle was straight forward after reading up online, and connecting to the EMG solderless buss was simple as this includes connection points already. I then plugged in and everything was working as meant to without any issues.

All in all this seems a good and reliable part, and to date there have been no issues with signal connections. I would highly recommend this for scratch built guitars or as a replacement part.

Un switch pour les gouverner tous

Acheté en vu d'un remplacement sur une Epiphone Les Paul Black Beauty de 2010 à 3 Humbuckers, il me fallait un switch long et doré. Habitué des pièces Switchcraft, mon choix s'est naturellement porté sur ce modèle.

C'est un switch de qualité, bien construit et solide. Attention toutefois à certains point :

- le fuselage est légèrement plus court que celui de la pièce changée : il m'a donc fallu fraiser un peu le bois de la cavité pour que le fuselage ressorte côté table et pour que je puisse visser la rondelle.

- le capuchon n'est malheureusement pas livré avec. Au moins on peut choisir la couleur !

- à faire attention également selon le modèle de switch que vous remplacez par celui là, en ce qui me concerne les borniers à souder ne sont pas orientés comme sur la pièce d'origine, ce qui peut être déstabilisant.

Ça reste du tout bon, foncez !
