The beautiful, the good ...
... There are some in this pedalboard. Costaud with its aluminum cladding. The Harley Benton PowerPlant does not go underneath, I knew it by buying, I will tweak the feet for it to pass. The holes are not necessarily super well placed for the cables (own T-Rex pedals) but we do it and it's clean at the end. I could place two Boss pedals (an equalizer and an SD1), a Dark Matter, a T-Rex Play Back, a Looper DittoX2 and a polytune mini. It comes in well but be careful to take patch cables very "flat" otherwise it will take at least a pedal. The carrying bag is nickel with a large pocket for placing cables and other accessories ... I will recommend this article even if I think Pedal Train are more suitable for the level of the passage of the cables.

Thoughtful system

I'm actually more of a DIY pedalboard made of wood, but I did not feel like building a new one whenever my needs change. So I've seen what there are so finished products on the market. That's when I came across the ToneTrunk series from T-Rex. What I especially liked before buying was the possibility to combine it with my existing FuelTank Junior. The ToneTrunk has pre-drilled screw holes into which you can use the ToneTrunk clip to screw the power supply under the board. Who fixes his power supply with Velcro, knows how annoying that sometimes can be. So ordered.

The ToneTrunk Minor is a bit wider than the smaller versions of the competition. It consists of really stable sheet steel. Nothing bends. Only the edges could have been a little rounded. They are quite sharp and a bit uncomfortable to handle. Therefore, a star deduction during processing.

The attachment of the FuelTank with the ToneTrunk Bracket actually works as hoped. In addition to the power supply, I have also attached the small TrueTone buffer in the terminal. Very convenient. Full score for the thoughtful system.

My fear that the few cable openings could be impractical has not been confirmed. Sure, you're not quite as flexible as, for example, the new rockboards, which are half-holes, but with a little planning that's no problem. On the contrary. You have to feel even less "residual cable" somewhere to accommodate. ;)

The Velcro I can not rate, because I have designed the board with the Heavy Duty Velcro Velcro.

The bag is ok from the processing ago. The upholstery could have been a bit stronger. The bag looks a bit unstable overall. Let's see how long it lasts.

All in all, I am very satisfied with the board and the concept. I have a thumbs up.
