Good tubes

I do not have too much experience with different tubes, but this set sounds better than any stock tubes that i got with amp. If you are trying to get a bit more clean and bassy tone this set is one to go.

Austausch in Marshall JCM2000-TSL100

Habe nach einigen Jahren jetzt doch mal die Röhren bei meinem Marshall TSL100 gewechselt, da der Sound stark Höhenanteile und Durchsetzungskraft verloren hat. Vorher waren originale Marshallendstufenröhren eingesetzt, die einen typisch britischen Ton erzeugten.

Jetzt mit den TADs geht etwas härter zur Sache. Der Sound ist etwas rauer geworden, was ich aber nicht als negativ empfinde. Für Sounds im Style von Metallica, Nickelback, Creed, Linkinpark, (alles mit Gibson Les Paul Std.) aber auch für ältere Sounds wie zum Beispiel Deep Purple, Hendrix, Clapton (Fender USA Texas Special Stratocaster) gut geeignet.
Verwende als Vorstufenröhren ebenfalls TADs (siehe TAD RT001 Bewertung). Bei meinem Marshall habe ich den Arbeistpunkt (Bias) für die Endstufenröhren für diese TAD Endstufenröhen (je Paar) auf 88mA (zwei Handelsübliche Digital-Multimeter) eingestellt.

Am Anfang traten im ausgebautem Zustand des Topteil Brummgeräusche auf, die aber nach wiedereinbau ins Gehäuse (Abschirmung) und ca. 1 Betriebsstunde vollständig verschwanden.

Per le finali scelgo solo (o quasi) valvole russe e cecoslovacche (parlando di produzione corrente).
La sigla Cz dovrebbe stare, appunto, per cecoslovacchia.
Suono potente con medi in avanti, bassi dal contorno duro (quindi non slabbrati) e acuti presenti ma non aspri (come le cinesi).
La selezione c'è e dopo un pò di assestamento (bias drift) si vede col tester.
Potenza elevata (non tanto come le STR) e tipica EL34 adatta per il suono Marshall in generale.
Una particolarità di questa valvola è lo spessore del vetro che non influisce sul suono, ma sicuramente sulla stabilità ed anche sulla microfonicità (ebbene sì, anche le finali possono essere terribilmente microfoniche).

No se si hay mucha leyenda en esto de las valvulas o no, en mis JCM 800 de 1986 le tocaba cambiar valvulas y estas le han dado un caracter diferente, un sonido mas comprimido, mas volumen y buena pegada. Parece que satura menos que antes pero define mucho mas y tiene mas cuerpo. Pasar de unas valvulas muy viejas a unas nuevas se nota, no se si con una valvula mas barata tambien lo hubiera notado tanto.
