Over all its a very good guitar preamp it gives me the guitar sounds I want which is almost everything.I play alot off different styles off music and it does a great job for me.The only complaint I have is there is no bracket to hold it in place on the guitar.if there was a bracket it would get a perfect five all the way cheers and thanks

Very good preamp and interchangeable with all Takamines after 1996 if I am well informed . For older models like my EF360S and EN18 from '85 and '87 you will have to cut the wood to replace the original palathetic system with the TP4T or other preamp but when you think about it , not many guitars have electronic pick up sytems which still work after 30+ years . Mine do !
