t
The top I've been looking for!

I've been struggling to find a throne that will support my thighs as I was learning faster double bass technique. I've previously tried the round and the classic "motorcycle" shapes and both of them provided none to minimal thigh support.

This throne top was different - it's almost wedge-shaped, with lesser cut-outs for thighs, thus supports them very well. Also it fit on my Gibraltar throne stand easily and snugly - just had to remove a single bolt inside the throne top clamp (read the included instructions).

I have yet to test it in hot summer conditions as it's a cloth top as opposed to leather tops I've used in the past, but hopefully all is well 😉

MS
Comfort vs price
Matyas S. 27.05.2015
I needed somthing under my backside, that does not give me pain. The moment I sat down I knew, this was a jackpot! Comfortable, size is perfect, and the materials used on it are strong enough to serve you well even during frequent gigs. Was it cheap? It's relative. How much would you be willing to pay for painless hours on the drumseat? Do yourself a favour and buy quality drumthrones. This one is highly recommended!

P
Vinyl vs Cloth top
P33 10.02.2014
Having had the vinyl top version i found that i was having to make little adjustments most of the time to my seated position and my backside etc was getting too hot.I changed to the cloth version and its like a whole new throne.I now feel totally planted on the seat and i don't have to keep making small adjustments.I cannot recommend this cloth version enough.
