Grundsätzlich ja ein gutes Konzept, wenn es denn funktionieren würde.
Meine Anforderung war: Zwei XLR mit Phantomspeisung und zwei Kopfhörer nutzbar die man einzeln regeln kann. Ich habe das jetzt hier mit einem Zwischenstecker mit Regler für den kleinen Klinkge-Ausgang genutzt, da mein Beyer-KH eh immer viel lauter läuft, als der Zweite...
Ich habe mich dann dafür entschieden, weil die Software gleich mit einem Set an vermeintlich sinnvollen Tools kommt (EQ, Compressor, Hall). Außerdem hat mich der Effekt-Button, sowie die Sample-Buttons gereizt. Für Podcasting also perfekt und ggf kann man doch mal ne Gitarre aufnehmen.
Das Produkt ist wohl brandneu und die Software wurde für den Vorgänger entwickelt. Auf der deutschen Seite gibt es zu dem Produkt nur die Bedienungsanleitung, keine Treiber, keine Software zum Download. Ich habe dann die Software von der englischen Seite verwendet. Diese Software wird aber auch in der deutschen Bedienungsanleitung gezeigt...
Zur Bedienung: Leider funktioniert hier nix intuitiv. Es gibt verschiedene Treiber in Windows zur Auswahl, aber eigentlich funktioniert nur einer und wenn man auf einen anderen wechselt, muss man das Gerät, sowie die Tools, die es verwenden sollten neustarten um wieder Ton zu bekommen. (Der im Manual angegebene Treiber funktionert bei mir in Windows gar nicht - ebenso der für Skype gedachte Treiber)
Ich habe auch mit Hilfe des Manuals mittlerweile echt alles ausprobiert, was ging und ich bekomme das Ding nicht dazu dass die Samples auch in der Software ankommen. Mit dem eingespielten Ton vom iPhone funktionert es aber.
Allerdings hört man das auch wiederum nur, wenn man das Monitoring an hat, also auch nur zusammen mit Mikrofon. (d.h. bei Lautsprechern gibt's dann ordentlich Feedback, und auf dem Kopfhörer hört man sonst immer seine eigene Stimme mit...)
Meiner Meinung nach muss hier noch viel nachgebessert werden. Vor allem softwareseitig.
Der Support von Tascam hat leider auf keine meiner Anfragen irgendwie reagiert. Telefonisch sind sie auch nicht zu erreichen.
Zudem möchte ich noch vor den XLR-/Kombi-Buchsen warnen. Bei mir steckt jetzt ein Shure-XLR fest und ich bekomme ihn nicht mehr raus. :-(
