Amazing Wireless System for a more than fair price
Reviewing purchased item 23.09.2021
Real plug and play deal.
No challenges to get started at all.

Was doubtful between this and the True Diversity GigA pro Body pack set and could not be happier I chose the Pedal one due to size and my actual-personal needs and space available. There is always time to get the separate body pack which also looks amazing and compatible!

Small transmitter, hardly any weight but sturdy quality product
The exchangeable battery was mainly a must when I was searching for a wireless system and this one has it. Best way to bypass inbuilt batteries that lose capacity with time. Also the small size is a big plus.

Five stars in handling could not be given partly due to the metal clip to hold the transmitter to strap. You need to match the clip location to the upper part of transmitter to be able to still charge unit with the clip on, but then, the clip can partly cover screen with battery indicator and on/off button. Still you can get away with it. Got myself a strap holder so I don't have to use the metal clip. Another solution is to just buy a couple of batteries and charger and just not use the included charger.....

The Receiver is even better quality with metal housing and this pedal style is just a great way to experience wireless playing

Settings are still to be tweaked with a bit more so that is also reason for only 4 stars on handling, need to really play around with settings later on.
It already sounds quite well out of the box and actually surprised the humming and buzzing on distortion channels on amp is hardly noticeable. Multiple settings will help get THE SOUND and the led indicators are just a lovely shiny detail since you can change colors and actually see the unit quickly.

Overall another winner from Thomann
Last but not least the compatibility with other T.Bone transmitters under same frequencies is also a big plus.

Only strolling up and down the flat and stairs so my feedback on lag or loses of signal is something I can't really help you with but if it is Thomann, it works as it should. No challenges nor drops of signal during the battery and a half usage I made of unit, battery also seems to last longer than expected so only plus points here.

Will update hopefully this review once I have more time to play around with the settings.

Thanks to PA dept. for a nice chat we had some week ago! Was very, very close as you see to get the Bodypack but this one suits my needs much better, thanks for your time and help

G
Really impressed, excellent value for money, built to last
GregRH 07.10.2020
I bought this pedal after considering all the lower-end wireless transmitters for instruments, as it seemed the best compromise - a bit more expensive than the XVive system (which a friend is really happy with) but more features.

It does not disappoint! First thing I noticed was the weight of the pedal - it's built really well. Then the transmitter has a cable and belt clip if you don't want to hook it straight to the instrument - handy! Mainly, the transmitter has a *replaceable* lithium-ion battery, so you're not chucking the unit in 5 years time because the built-in battery is shagged. This is excellent!

Plugged in and played, the pedal receiver detected the transmitter immediately, no issue there. For me it's completely indiscernable from using a cable, quality wise - certainly in a practice/gig setting, I'd probably cable up to record anyway. No issues, no cutting out, no interference, just works.

The pedal itself is a tiny bit complicated, just because it's packed with options and has a limited interface (it's a pedal!) but it was still dead easy to figure out. I really can't fault this pedal set, I'm delighted with it.

Good set with some limitations
The Pea 30.12.2019
This set gives good natural sound with very little colouration. Easy to set up and gives you the ability to store programs and route each program to either A, B or C outputs or combinations thereof. I chatted with someone at Thomann and asked if I could use two signals simultaneously. I was told I could so I bought the set with two transmitters. I set it up to have my guitar linked to program 1 coming out of A and my other guitarist linked to program 2 coming out of B. Turns out this does not work as the system will only output on one program and you can't have two transmitters linked to one program (using the same frequency). Shame as it would have been really useful. It has a very useful scanning function which in a live situation will show you any used frequencies to avoid. It is very simple to change the frequency. You pair the transmitter to the new frequency just by hitting the ACT button and pointing the transmitter. Battery life is good - about 5 hours before going into red (nice touch is the battery display on the transmitter) and sound does not deteriorate. Distance is really good and will go through thick walls. Overall a good system and would have given it 5 but for the mis-information.

AJ
Best bang for the buck wireless guitar system
Arnar J 29.04.2022
I love that this wireless system is build to go on your pedal board, its so hassle free and easy.

I bought this with the intention of playing it live. I play some very aggressive music which means im sweating on this thing and jumping with it week in week out. This wireless system has not let me down, The pedal itself is extremely sturdy and would survive a nuclear blast. The transmitter is also very solid and the included clip is a bit awkward to get on the transmitter but when its on its not going anywhere.
I love the fact you can either plug the transmitter straight in or use the included extension cable to have it attached to your belt or strap.
The range is very good in my experience and the freedom of not being attached by a cable is such a good feeling.

My only complaints is that to charge the transmitter you need to remove the clip to get it into the charging dock and the addition of a seperate charging dock is also a bummer. Would have been great if you could charge the transmitter with a usb or something directly.
I would also have liked to see the addition of a tuner in the pedal itself as other brands have done and also the addition of a way to plug into the pedal if the transmitter dies. Its a bit of a pain having no way to directly plug into the pedal to bypass the wireless system, although the battery life on the transmitter is very good and lasts a very long time.

Overall a very solid unit and definitely the best bang for your buck today

Does what it is supposed to!
Kalom1527 28.11.2020
I bought it and unfortunately have not been able to test it in a live gig (thanks Covid).

However, tested the wireless at home, going up and down the building and works fine.

Also recorded in Cubase directly, no different signal than my regular cable!

The battery lasts about 2-3 hours playing at home.

The only "issue" is that the little "strap" to put on your guitar strap might be a bit difficult to attach on a thicker guitar strap/belt.

Overall, I am happy, but cannot give it 5 stars as I have to test it live first.

Wont let you down
Moxie 8 10.10.2023
The only downside this wireless system has is that you have to take of the holding clip from the transmiter every time you charge it. Would be great if that can be fixed.

Can"t say nothing bad about it. I've had it for 5 years and never had any problems. I only bought a spare batery so i don't have to charge it every gig.

V
Solid wireless for live play
VladimirG 27.03.2023
I am a gigging guitarist that plays weddings and events regularly throughout the year.

The receiver pedal unit itself is built pretty solid and the transmitter can be inserted directly into the guitar or put on the strap (useful for strat type guitars).
It's also possible to put the transmitter in the charger while the strap clip is on the transmitter, which is a plus.
After about 11 or 12 gigs, the screen on the pedal unit started to glitch out (even though the wireless unit itself worked fine) so I sent it back to Thomann to be repaired, which took about a week.
Physical product: 4/5

As far as I can remember, the only dropout I had was during a gig when the transmitter and receiver didn't have direct line-of-sight because of a big stage monitor (I was off-stage, in the middle of the dance floor).
Wireless connection: 5/5

Battery life is great. I can play a full wedding gig plus soundcheck with about 60% battery charge remaining (That's about 5-6 hours of play time).
Battery life: 5/5

Value for money: 5/5

Overall score: 5/5
