F
great tool for low price
Fozziemusic 02.02.2021
This version of the CC100 system (RC Shure variant) has a detachable cable which I like, since the cable is light but fragile. So far I have tested the microphone with acoustic guitar and violin, and both results were very good. Very happy with the purchase. Only the construction of the microphone 'capsule' to the gooseneck looks flimsy, I hope it will last.

O
Prone to feedback in a live setting
Ornithologist 12.11.2020
I have used it on a violin and on a guitar. Sound is really good, especialy for the price. But it quickly picks up unwanted noise and produces feedback, so it's not that usable on small crowded stages. The connector on the stick is screwed on the pliable stick and if it isn't fully fixed it causes noise. The cables seem quite fragile, but after a year of giging with it, it's still fine.

A
Thomann sent me a refurbished item.
AM_. 14.01.2020
I received a rebuilt version of this microphone. Visible glue residue and finger marks all over the item and the box. Stickers have been replaced and lost glue. One of the 3 XLR pins was bent and repaired using pliers to straighten it up. Once connected, the cable makes noises if touched.

Check your items while on the 30 day return period they give and do the return yourself using the website. Their CS team is useless and careless.
