More than just a piano

The Thomann DP-32 is an elegant and functional substitute for an acoustic piano. This digital piano offers beginners and advanced players all of the features and sounds they need in order to practise the piano, and much more besides. Thanks to its elegant housing, it stands out no matter what the surroundings. Available in black or white, the DP-32 cuts a great figure on any occasion, and with its extensive features, it can easily hold its own against much more expensive digital pianos. Novice pianists will not be the only ones impressed by its sound, its playing feel, and its possibilities!

Authentic grand piano feeling

First things first: The Thomann DP-32 is equipped with a high-quality keyboard and a real hammer mechanism, which ensures an authentic and pleasant playing feel - an especially important feature for beginners. The keyboard's touch sensitivity can be set to five different levels, depending on your individual taste. It can also be deactivated, for example when you want to play organ sounds. What's more, the pedals correspond to those of a real grand piano. As well as the sustain and soft pedals, the DP-32 also has a middle sostenuto pedal, ensuring that the piano is a match even for challenging piano literature.

A sonic stunner

In terms of sound, the DP-32 leaves nothing to be desired: Its 16 tones include various grand piano sounds, electric piano sounds, organs, strings, and more. If desired, the keyboard can be divided into two sounds in Split mode, or two sounds can be superimposed in Dual mode. In addition, the digital piano offers the TWINOVA four-hand mode, which is particularly suitable for teaching. The integrated chorus and reverb effects invite you to experiment and offer a great sonic variety. During playback, the powerful speakers ensure a full and rich sound. And of course, the DP-32 can also do the opposite: Thanks to the two headphone outputs, you can practise even if your roommates don't want to be disturbed.

About Thomann digital pianos

Thomann-brand instruments, which are exclusively built by renowned manufacturers, now constitute a large part of Thomann’s product range alongside numerous big-name brands. With unbeatable price-performance ratios, Thomann digital pianos are the obvious first choice for students and beginners – and others too. The technical features and uncompromising sound quality they offer are usually reserved for much more expensive instruments found in the professional market segment.

All-in-one package

Practising the piano is very easy with the DP-32: Just switch it on and start playing. Besides, there are many helpful functions, such as the built-in metronome and the 60 integrated practice pieces. When playing the songs, the left and right hand can be muted separately so that you can play them yourself. With the integrated recorder, you can record up to five pieces to document your playing progress or to store your ideas. Good connectivity is also ensured: The AUX input allows you to connect a music player or smartphone to play music. The digital piano can be connected to an amplifier system or a recorder via the AUX output. There is also a USB port, allowing the DP-32 to be connected to a computer and to be used with music software. In other words, the DP-32 leaves no wish unfulfilled.

In the spotlight: TWINOVA mode

The DP-32's TWINOVA mode is very suitable for teaching. Similar to the split mode, the keyboard is divided into two sections. Unlike Split mode, however, these areas are not assigned to two different sounds, but rather to the same tonal range of the same sound. This function allows teachers and students to sit next to each other while having access to the same pitch range. Very convenient!

Very good

I bought this piece to re-study the piano and I have to say that more than satisfied with the product.
Not super-easy to tune up settings like hardness of touch, tough.
It's very good value for the price! and recommend for beginners or amateurs.

Excellent for beginners

This is for our household, and we don't have a long history with pianos. I bet professionals will notice the subtle details that are supposedly missing from the sound, but we don't notice. It sounds pretty good.

The speakers are under the keys, and this means they point to the floor, so you'll be listening to the sound reflected from the floor. This is important to consider if you have the piano on top of carpets or some other absorptive material. Gladly, you always have the option to plug in headphones or external stereo speakers if you wish. The headphone sockets are hidden on the left corner, under the keys. This is an important detail that doesn't actually appear in any product pictures. I purchased this without being sure that the headphone sockets exist, but rest assured, they exist.

The product has a lot of possibilities to configure the sound, the velocity of keys, metronome. We haven't explored it all yet.

Last but not least, it is inexpensive but good quality and good appearance.

Good price for this money

This is our first digital piano. Children use it to make practice. We are satisfied with the quality of the product and the sound quality. Real width of the piano is 1365 mm and not 1320 mm as it is written down in the product specification.
