T
Excellent value and features, with a minor quality issue
Tekrytor 12.07.2020
Pros:
I bought this guitar to fill a niche in my collection. I wanted a nylon string for jazzy and prog tones. It fills all my expectations well and the build quality is excellent, especially considering the price.
The sound is quite acceptable, also price considered.

Features are excellent, with the built in tuner, pickup, and preamp/EQ. All work flawlessly and make it nice to use. There was even a battery installed! The finish is fine and there are no defects or blems, satin not glossy, which I prefer

Cons:
The bridge height is set rather high, making the action about 1/4" at the 12th fret, making it difficult to play. For a beginner, this would be a problem. I'm going to file both the saddle and its block lower and get on with life. There is ample material there to do so. It's still well worth the money to me and once set, seems like it will be a fine addition to my selection of instruments. I'll update this review once I finish that effort.

Bottom line:
For the money, it's an excellent value, even with the high action. If the action were controlled better at the factory, I would have given quality 5 stars instead of 4, it's that good IMO. If it were not a fixable problem, I would have taken off more stars. If you had to pay for such a repair, it would easily cost between $50 and $100 at a shop. I would consider the possibility that it might need a little work on arrival when purchasing, so you're not disappointed if it's not perfect.

B
My first return ever
B0jan 12.01.2022
I was really excited about this purchase, and I had quite expectations from it. It turned out that it is a really shallow guitar (almost like an electric one) with not so good sound without an amp.
When tried with an amp it just wasn't the sound I expected - even a strat in the neck+bridge position has a more spacey and acoustic sound. Maybe there's nothing wrong with the guitar, but I just didn't like it's sound.
Thomann did a great job with their return policy - they sent me the return shipping vaucher and I returned it via my nearest post office.

MK
Great for the price.

I used to play classical guitar before I got into metal.

With lockdown appraoching, I bought this as the cheapest classical I could find that had decent ratings. I figured I probably wouldn't get back into it, but that if I did, then I could buy a much higher-end classical later in the year, and donate this cheap one to a local school or something.

After nearly a year, I really love this guitar and don't plan to replace it anytime soon. Action could be lower, but it's not insanely high.

I'm just learning the final measures of Recuerdos de la Alhambra on this guitar now and am really happy with it.

M
Excellent budget nylon string for gigs.
MattSWG 10.02.2022
The pros:
This guitar is clearly designed with live use in mind. It is light, extremely 'playable', and has rather good electronics; the on-board tuner and eq works well, and the pickup is good too. The guitar stays in tune well and seems quite responsive considering it's shallower size.
Unplugged, due to the very shallow body, the guitar is less suitable for recording but great for quiet solo practice.
Cons:
Although the guitar arrived perfectly playable straight put the box, I quickly filed down the bridge and after a little use I easily switched the bridge pickup out for a better one (the installed strip was fine but a £20 upgrade sounded better plugged in).
The finish of the wood feels a little lower end but is obviously reflected in the price and so would be unfair to really claim this as a con.

Overall, the guitar was worth every pound and more- a great nylon string for solo or band performances with a great on-board preamp/tuner. Would definitely recommend!
