Very relaxing sound

Not to be confused with a Japanese Shakuhachi. It's very hard to find literature to learn this instrument but it is very very pleasant to play!

If you're not afraid to just wing it or if you're lucky enough to have a teacher it will serve you greatly.

Eine tolle Shakuhachi Xiao

Ein wirklich schönes Instrument. Die Ansprache war nicht so schwierig, wie ich mir das vorgestellt hatte. Der Sound ist voluminös und sehr durchdringend. Das Mundstück fand ich prinzipiell ganz gut, allerdings gab es eine kleine (Mini) Kante, die ich nicht so schön fand. Vielleicht kann man sich daran gewöhnen. Ich fand diese Shakuhachi Xiao für mich ein wenig zu laut. Letztendlich habe ich mich für die Thomann Chinese DongXiao entschieden, weil sie ein wenig zarter daherkommt. Der Bambus ist bei der DongXiao sichtbar dünner und den Sound empfand ich etwas angenehmer. Diese Shakuhachi Xiao hier ist allerdings deutlich besser verarbeitet und fühlt sich wie ein richtiges wertiges Instrument an. Der Preis ist gerechtfertigt.
