For the price this is a surprisingly good instrument. Intonation is good across the range and the tone is good at pp and ff. The slide runs perfectly true and smoothly. The satin finish is really attractive. For an instrument at this price there are one or two compromises. The slide is quite heavy and the mouthpiece is not great - I'd recommend replacing the mouthpiece with a well known brand.

Goede match voor bigband.

Als amateur bigband trombonist heb ik deze sinds kort in gebruik. Instrument spreekt heel vlot aan en de schuif is fantastisch. Heb wel een ander mondstuk gekocht met een vlakkere rand voor meer uithouding. Lakwerk en afwerking is voor deze prijs dik oké!

Bin Einsteiger - komme vom Jagdhorn und Bassgitarre
Das Instrument ist hervorragend verarbeitet:
- Zug läuft super, ist dicht und klappert nicht
- Stimmzug, Wasserklappe, Zugschloss alles super
Das Instrument ist schwerer als höherpreisige Instrumente (Vergleich mit einer King 4B) - das Material des Schallbechers ist wohl dicker - auch der Zug scheint etwas schwerer zu sein. Wegen des dickeren Materials klingt die Posaune aber etwas dumpfer - sie hat aber einen schönen weichen Klang und lässt sich aber auch mit etwas Übung ins überblasen bringen, so dass es härter klingt. Ansprache und Intonation sind gut - die Ansprache vielleicht geringfügig träger als die King 4B.

Was fällt sonst noch auf?
Die Posaune reagiert auf Raumresonanzen etwas stärker als die King. Draußen oder in gut gedämmten Räumen (Vorhang, Teppich) klingt sie durchweg schön. In kleineren ungedämmten Räumen reagieren manche Töne in unteren oder mittleren Lagen jedoch manchmal etwas zickig.

Ich werde mir die 525 oder 500 in der Goldmessing Variante wohl auch mal anschauen. Klare Kaufempfehlung - ein vollwertiges Instrument mit kleinen Abstrichen bei Klang und Gewicht.
