Good horn, but something is off
Cristóvão 20.05.2021
I bought this horn for beginner practice.

After going through other horns, including another budget sax and an intermediate sax, I find that this one feels definitely leaky, and perhaps very temperamental on some of the notes on the higher octave.
I say perhaps, because it could have been my intonation at the time which might not have been perfect (I was a beginner after all), but I did not have problems with the other instruments.

So far, so good
JohnKeats 22.01.2022
Complete beginner with the saxophone. I decided to go for tenor because I'm an adult with large hands and I prefer tenor's tone. So far I have managed to get a good sound out of it at times, which must mean the instrument is good enough (the blame for the bad notes should fall on me as a beginner)

Unserviceable
Anonymous 16.06.2023
I purchased this instrument a couple of years ago as a beginner switching from a clarinet. Although this instrument has got a lovely tone, I found from the beginning that it's pretty leaky. I took it to a couple of repairers to fix the issues; one had trouble to remove pads at all, another didn't even attempt to start a job saying it would be tricky to find the right pads for this saxophone, and even if he did find them he would not attempt the repair due to the sax poor worksmanship. Apart from this, the holder was so low that my thumb was on the level of my middle finger which put an extreme strain on my wrist. I filed this to make a proper adjustment but eventually I removed the holder completely. This instrument put me in the path of playing the saxophone but I would be better off getting an instrument of a more known brand so while playing I wouldn't have to overcompensate for the deficiencies of this sax.

This is the first sax ive bought. I got it from Thomann as we have bought all our instruments from them. Service has always been excellent. And the quality has always been excellent. I would recommend buying from Thomann to anyone.
