Die Thomastik-Saiten sind die besten Mandolinensaiten, die ich bisher gespielt habe. Und auch die langlebigsten, was Klang und Verarbeitung angeht.
Die E-Saiten sind halt schon am anfälligsten, wenn beim 'Schraddeln' das Temperament und die Anschlaghärte zunehmen.
Darum kaufe ich bei einem neuen Satz Saiten die beiden E-Saiten immer noch dazu... als Ersatz. Der dann, mangels Spieldisziplin, auch öfters mal gebraucht wird. Und wenn beim Auftritt eine Saite reißt ist die Wahrscheinlichkeit, dass es die zweite auch noch gleich erwischt schon hoch... bei mir.
