Tone City è un marchio di qualità.
Questo mini pedale riproduce quasi fedelmente (gli manca davvero poco) il famosissimo RIOT, pedale che costa tre volte tanto in versione mini e quattro volte la versione in formato 'standard'
Particolarmente adatto per rock e hard rock.
Se volete un pedale high gain aggressivo, di qualità, senza spendere una fortuna lo avete trovato!

Überraschend gut

Gut, dass Thomann die ToneCity-Pedale inzwischen auch anbietet. Ja ich weiß, das sind immer nur Kopien, aber das sind für mich tatsächlich die besten Mini-Pedale. Und echt robust verarbeitet. Das sweet cream war auch sehr lange auf meinem Board.

Sehr geiles Pedal, Ich muss es für mich schon fast ein bisschen zügeln. Die Regler greifen sehr effektiv ins Geschehen ein und sind für mich optimal. Zu Schaltergeräuschen, die anderswo zu ToneCity Pedalen mal angemäkelt wurden, kann ich nix zu sagen, da es bei mir im Looper hängt.

Meines Wissens basiert er auf nem Suhr riot, habe allerdings keinen A/B-Vergleich gemacht. Für mich geht er klanglich in richtung eines moderaten HighGain Marshalls, also nicht in Richtung Modern/Rectifier sondern etwas klassischer und das Gain kann man auch etwas zügeln. Er versteht sich bei mir ganz gut mit Humbuckern und Single Coils.

Das Pedal ist auf dem Weg meine Jahrelangen Lieblinge (diverse rat-Pedale) vom Board zu verdrängen. Das sagt schon genug aus…
