Torpedo Classic Bag for Trumpet

I got this case for cycling as it would hopefully save my trumpet in the case of a road accident, which given how sturdy it is wouldn't surprise me despite not having needed this particular functionality. My only complaint about this case is that the music pouch is not waterproof, however, this can easily be remedied using a plastic folder if you aren't carrying too thick of a wad of music.

Excellent protection

I was looking for a case that offered good protection and also one that I could cycle with. The case feels very secure and I have no fears for the safety of my trumpet. As for cycling the shoulder strap and backpack straps allow for multiple carrying options. The only negative is that it's a little uncomfortable. The round shape means that it sits right on your spine while cycling although having a few books in the attached music folder helps soften things a little. I'm still very happy with the case.

Sturdy in every way

Pros:
Great protection
Versatile - the mute bag is big enough for almost any situation
Excellent non-slip shoulder strap

Cons:
Surprisingly heavy
Backpack function isn't as comfortable as some other competitors - shape and rigidity to blame I think

Overall:
Glad I bought it and it's had plenty of use, but if you don't need the protection there are definitely more comfortable cases out there
