This is my mouthpiece almost from the start. My first mouthpiece was a regular B45 (I try also M30, M13 and the ones that come with the clarinets).

It is very simple to have good sound with it. That, for me, is one of the most important aspects to have in account when you buy a mouthpiece, or a reed, or even a clarinet. having a good sound have to be worked, but, at same time, have to be natural.

Of course that every person has a different way to play. So, you will have to try some different mouthpieces to understand what is the mouthpiece that will help you play well and with a good sound with naturalness.

Ich spiele seit 3 Jahren Klarinette und bin gerade von deutsch auf Böhm umgestiegen. Da meine gebrauchte Prestige RC ohne Mundstück kam, habe ich einige Mundstücke zur Auswahl bestellt. Dieses war meine persönliche Nr. 2 in Verbindung mit der" Vandoren Ligature Leather Bb-Clar Boehm". Damit bekam ich einen warmen Sound hin, allerdings klangen einige hohe Töne mir doch zu "scharf". Letztendlich habe ich mich gegen dieses Mundstück entschieden, weil ich gemerkt habe, dass meine Fähigkeiten doch noch nicht ausreichen, die Töne sauber in der richtigen Tonhöhe zu halten - dazu fehlt mir doch noch einiges an Erfahrung, was sicher nicht am Mundstück liegt - eben die Kehrseite der Tatsache, dass ich damit ein halbwegs akzeptables Glissando hingekriegt habe.
Sicher kein Einsteiger-Mundstück, aber für jemanden mit längerer Erfahrung toll mit schönem, warmem Sound.

Ich habe kürzlich einige Vandoren Mundstücke getestet. Das B45 Lyra bleibt mein Favorit. Es ist relativ offen und darum sicher auch für Saxophon Klarinetten-Doubler interessant. Ich verwende es im Jazzbereich und man kommt sogar relativ gut im Bandkontext damit durch. War mit dem Mundstück aber auch schon beim Klassik Dozent. Dem hat es auch sehr gut gefallen. Ein runder Ton ist ebenso möglich wie ein hauchig luftiger.
