One of my favourite saxophonists use the Vandoren M/O ligature so I bought one to try. I was skeptical at first but wow! Massively opened up my sound and gave my sax a real buzz without making my sound too bright which is the reason I don't usually like metal ligatures. Great addition to my Vandoren A7s mouthpiece!

I usually use fabric or leather ligatures unless conditions require a lighter ligature.Easy to use and works with certain mouthpieces that respond well to a less restrictive ligature.Could be a bit more strongly constructed...

wenn man das Thomann mk lll handmade alto sax spielt, ist diese Blattschraube vom Erscheinungsbild her ideal.
Und jetzt, war's das? Natürlich nicht!
Da eine Aussparung für das Blatt vorhanden ist, ist dieses immer perfekt in Position gehalten, auch wenn die Schraube nur minim angezogen ist. Kommt der Ansprache und der freien Schwingung des Blattes entgegen.
Da nur eine Schraube angezogen werden muss, ist das Blatt schneller und auch präziser zu halten und zu positionieren. Detail am Rande, es gibt 2 Gewinde, beim Lösen und Anziehen der Schraube wird gleichmässig Druck / Entlastung auf beide Seiten ausgeübt.
Klanglich mit diversen Blättern zu empfehlen. Meinerseits als absolute Favoritenkombination in Verbindung mit dem Thomann Monsterreed 1.5 und dem Yamaha 5c Mundstück. Ich bin einfach nur begeistert!!!
