Works great with Studiologic SL88 Grand / Pianoteq 6 Pro
Alvaro Caceres 30.01.2021
I got two of these for my SL88 Grand, one for sustain, and one for una corda. I wanted continuous pedals so that I could exploit the many options Pianoteq 6 Pro offers (e.g. partially muting strings when you leave the sustain pedal on the middle). These are phenomenal and work great with the software.

If you're using it for the first time, be aware you need to switch the polarity from Pianoteq (if you go to the MIDI settings, you can set the minimum value for this pedal to 1 and the maximum to 0 (it's initially set to min=0, max=1).

I also appreciate the generous cable length!

Good but squeeks sometimes
Benke 25.02.2019
I bought this pedal for my Yamaha MOXF6. It has a nice feeling and stays well in place unless you are lazy and havn't been vacuum cleaning your floor like you should. :)
Like some reviewers have said it can squeek sometimes. For me it occured a bit randomly and at specific angles. If I moved my feet preassure a bit it would be almost silent. I never tried to put any oil to it though so this might be a solution.

AR
Works on Thomann SP5600
Adrian Romania 01.12.2021
I bought this for a Yamaha piano I intend to buy when it becomes available. I understand that it comes only with an on/off pedal about which a lot of people complain. This one is recommended to be used instead. I suppose that it works very well with that piano, being from Yamaha.

I received it today and I found it having a better construction than the on/off one I have for the SP5600, it's longer and it doesn't slip so easily on my carpet. I couldn't resist to try it with this piano and it seems to work nicely.

I'm a beginner so I'm not entirely sure that it works in the way it's supposed to, but it works when it's half depressed and one can also use it in the on/off style as the old pedal.

Good sustain pedal, works great with Yamaha MOXF6
Anonymous 03.03.2014
I was looking for a high quality sustain pedal for my Yamaha MOXF6. Because I need it for live performance I was looking for a pedal where the cable is long enough. Also it was important that the signal works perfectly with Yamaha keyboards. At first I thought about buying a Roland sustain pedal, but the nice people at Thomann told me that they don't work well with Yamaha keyboards (there are different signals when the pedal is pressed and released. It could be configured in the keyboard user interface, but it was important that it worked out of the box).

In the end I settled for this one. It is a bit heavy but that's a good thing consiedered that it shouldn't move on any floor when playing a live performance.
