I bought a thomann flugelhorn - beautiful instrument - but I wanted a similar brand of mouthpiece to my trumpet mouthpiece (Bobby Shew Jazz). My friend recommended this one. High quality feel, finish, and sound. A joy to play. This is my first flugelhorn (I play mostly trumpet) so I can't compare it, all I can recommend is the craftsmanship and tone. Feels good, plays great. Absolute winner.
