P
Fantastic guitar
Paullie 17.09.2019
I've been amazed to see the quality components that this guitar offers for the price ! Awesome sounding Seymour Duncan pickups that are versatile, quality bridge, nut and tuners ! But these are just specs ! Once I saw that guitar and checked every centimeter of it, I've been blown away by the build quality and the beauty of this guitar !

I've played guitars which worth thousands of dollars. Sure they were nice, but with this Yamaha I've been able to get the same feel, tone and enjoyment for a fraction of the price.

I love the P-90 for cleans and overdrive and I use the bridge humbucker for metal.

Very pleasantly surprised by this guitar. Thanks, Thomann !

Very good value for the money
Anonymous 07.08.2016
I got this guitar to use with my band, also home recoring. I am not professional however I think I needed a certain quality. I think the guitar offers good quality, sound and features for the money. I do not see any downside in this guitar. Nevertheless there might be things to mention which is not issue. Tone pot feels looser than the volume, but tone pot is different because it has push/pull function, apparently different brand. The string gauge is not written I am not sure 8 or 9 but I can measure. The guitar has a good sound for rock and blues, for metal I say it depends on the person and the setup. Sound is very versatile, you can catch a classic single coil from the known brand, at the middle position with while the tone pot os pulled up. Hardware is very good. saddle and the bridge material is graphite and I love them. I don't need a setup, action is already low, intonation is very good, just tune and play. If it was stolen I would buy it again. The color is like, I love it,

Great choice for elementary and pre-intermediate players
Vitali A. 14.10.2020
Overall, I'm satisfied with the quality of this guitar.

Like the most of new medium-priced guitars from the factory (I believe), it required a bit of service when it came. Nothing special there though, just basic preparations like checking electronics, frets, etc.

A set of pickups allows a large variety of sounds. I personally like P90 in combination with single-coiled bridge pickup (when tone knop is pulled). Meanwhile, Custom 5 in humbucker mode is pretty good for something harder.

I'm not a person, who knows much about tones and knows in detail how top-notch guitars should sound, but I'm absolutely satisfied with this one. As per me, it is more than enough for entry-level guitarists.

The only thing I have to mention is that sometimes I'm getting a buzz when I'm turning knobs, but I'm not sure what is the cause of this problem. I have a feeling, that it could be not a guitar itself, because when I've been playing on a different combo connected by different cable - I wasn't been able to reproduce that buzz.
In any case, this is a minor problem that could be easily fixed. Nothing critical.

I can absolutely recommend this guitar to everyone as a versatile tool of good quality!

Super versatile and absolute killer in this price range
ElWu 11.10.2022
This is, hands down, the most versatile guitar I own. An absolute all-rounder. Incredible value for money - in this price range, you get Seymour Duncan pickups, graphite nut, locking tuners, a superb hardtail bridge with high quality saddles and a push-pull tone knob. Build quality is very high - no remarks whatsoever. Very good fretwork, lots of sustain, fit and finish that catches the eye. You can play blues, rock and metal, but also some lighter genres if you will. The P90 is a killer pickup and I just love the idea of combining it with a humbucker in the bridge - this way, you get the best of both worlds. Not many manufacturers do that. The only remark I may have is the choice of the humbucker model in this setup - it has a clearly distinctive tonal characteristics (more modern-sounding than the neck P90), so you may consider replacing it at some stage. But again, this is down to personal preference.

In my opinion this is the best pacifica model out there currently, and definitely a keeper. A pacifica that finally comes with a lot of character. Really hard to beat in this price range.
