A decent option at that price point
kRYOoX 21.05.2020
I'll preface this by saying that I'm not an expert when it comes to keyboards. My instrument of choice is the guitar, but I've always had a piano / keyboard not too far, and I've played it on and off for years.

I bought this unit with two expectations : a wide palette of sounds, and the capacity to record easily, without having to plug it into an audio interface and a DAW. Check for both.

I was pleasantly surprised with the overall controls and interface, which felt fairly intuitive. The touch screen is a nice addition vs a traditional screen and having to navigate menus using the wheel.

Given the price point, I expect some people might be disappointed that the keys aren't weighted, although I'm not sure about it being common or not with keyboards like these.
I also feel like velocity sensitivity is a bit weird. Playing quiet and gentle is easy, playing loud and intense is easy, but the middle ground feels elusive for some reason. But coming from years on a standard piano, I probably just need some time to adjust.

Overall, a very decent model, very close to what I expected. Happy with it so far.

Delighted
Terry and Mary 12.06.2020
As complete novices to anything in the form of a keyboard, my wife and I, both pensioners, decided it's never too late to learn. This wonderful magical machine piqued our interest following research via youtube etc. by watching and listening to others who can actually play, making beautiful music with the PSR-SX700. We continue to be delighted every day as our practice and experiments with the voices and styles of this first class music machine keep us busy. We love it and are delighted with our purchase.

YAMAHA SX700

Thank you for a good comfortable shopping experience at Thomann.
About the Yamaha Sx700:
pluses: good sound, beautiful new accompaniments, better keyboard than the previous PSR S700-900 series.
Better control buttons, not limp like S700-900
New options timbre adjustment, reverberation adjustment,
Cons: although there are new options for the touch screen, it is a darker background, many times it is gray, black on white is not highlighted.
Hard to find many other features
I have a Tyros5 and understand how comfortable and pleasant it is to play.
