Diese E-Geige hat mich dazu animiert, wieder mehr Geige zu spielen, da sie ohne Verstärkung sehr schön leise ist und sich auch zum Üben in einer Mietwohnung eignet. Wenn ich es lauter mag, kann ich sie über eine einfache Soundbox/Verstärker (nicht inklusive) verstärken. Die Verkabelung mit externer Steuerung ist etwas umständlich, aber auch praktisch, weil man sie extern der Geige regeln kann. Für die Reglerbox benötigt es zusätzlich Batterien, dafür verwende ich Akku-Batterien, die man wieder aufladen kann. Außerdem gibt es einen Kopfhöreranschluss, dann kann man auch verstärkt über Kopfhörer üben. Die Geige liegt gut in der Hand und Dank der Halterung für die eigene Schulterstütze (von einer normalen Geige), kann man sie sehr individuell anpassen. Die Verarbeitung und Optik ist sehr wertig und schön. Außerdem finde ich toll, dass die Geige sowohl normale Wirbel, als auch Feinstimmer besitzt, damit kann man sie sehr genau stimmen. Der Klang ist schön und klar. Ich mag die Vielfalt dieser E-Geige. Leise zum Üben und laut, wenn man es braucht!

The Yamaha SV-250 feels lighter than my acoustic violin. It's Perfect for silent practice, and awsome when I Connect it to the pedalboard or mixer and an aplifier. With taxes in Norway the price got high, but still a bit cheaper than from Norwegian stores, and I have'nt regreted the purchase for a second. I ended up changing the zyex strings to a set of Helicore medium with aluminium E. But that's just personal preferences.
