Yamaha YRA-312 BIII is an excellent Alto (Treble) Recorder (English fingering), recommended to me by professionals. This recorder is perfect for someone looking to upgrade or take the recorder more seriously. It's always between choosing Yamaha and Aulos recorders when choosing a high quality instrument, I would recommend to anyone.

Pros:
- attractive rosewood-like plastic
- great sound and fingering
- great features: case, recorder cream and cleaner

Cons:
- Professionals say Aulos sound better but Yamaha play much better.
